DIRECTOR

Paul Wulle, one of the founders of Rancho Encinitas Academy, has dedicated more than forty years to educating children. He has teaching experience at the primary and intermediate levels, which provides him with significant insight into the learning process. Paul holds a Master's Degree in Education, and has completed Post Master's coursework in the field of education. He was awarded recognition in Who's Who Among America's Teachers, 2000. Paul and his late wife, Linda, created Rancho Encinitas Academy in 1995, a crystallization of their educational philosophy. As the REA Director, he is committed to perpetuating Linda's dream of excellence in education.

TEACHERS

Rancho Encinitas Academy teachers have teaching credentials in General Education, and/or Master of Education degree. As dedicated educators and life-long learners, our teachers keep themselves informed and up to date on state-of-the-art techniques, research, knowledge and advancements in the field. In addition to the regular teaching staff, the students work with Spanish, art, music and physical education teachers once a week.

 

DIRECTOR

Karey Jaeger, M.Ed. has worked in the field of special education since 1992. She received her Master’s degree in Special Education from National University. Karey holds three valid California teaching credentials; two in special education as well as one authorizing her to teach multiple subjects.  She has experience as a public and private school classroom teacher, member of a curriculum writing team, ABA therapy provider, and special education administrator. Karey is committed to providing the students at Edison Academy with the educational strategies and tools that they need to become successful students and confident individuals. Her philosophy of education is in line with Linda Wulle’s mission for Edison Academy – that academic success is within the grasp of every student. 

TEACHERS

Edison Academy teachers hold teaching credentials authorizing them to work as Educational Specialists and/or Master’s Degree in Special Education. Additionally, our teachers have training and experience regarding how to plan and implement effective research based instruction in the areas of reading, writing, math, and core subjects for students who have learning disabilities, attention and processing challenges, as well as students who have anxiety and mild social difficulties which affect their confidence and ability to learn. Edison teachers are passionate about providing an educational environment in which students can thrive academically and socially.
